  • Fits snug – we suggest you size up for the traditional Tilley fit (2 fingers inserted between hat and head)

    Care

    Machine wash delicate or hand wash cold. Use mild detergent. Do not use softeners or bleach. Remove windcord and foam from crown pocket before washing. Reshape and air dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

    THE RIGHT FIT

    At Tilley, our hats are designed to sit comfortably low on the head. The proper fit should be slightly loose, as gravity will keep your Tilley in place.

    Step 1: Wrap a string around the widest part of your head, located 1 to 2 cm above the top of your ears and brow line.

    Step 2: Determine the measurement with a ruler, then add 2 cm to the total, for comfort.

    Step 3: Convert that final measurement into your hat size in the chart below.

    One Head But Four Tilleys

    I now have the original T3, the new TWS1 Paddler's Hat (also called All-Weather), and two LTM6 Air-Flos because they are so useful in sun and shower in their contrasting colours.

    Looks good!
