Machine wash delicate or hand wash cold. Use mild detergent. Do not use softeners or bleach. Remove windcord and HyperKewl� insert from crown pocket before washing. Reshape and air dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
I purchased one of these hats in 2019. It went with me to Alaska on my grizzly bear hunt. The hat is fantastic. It keeps the sun, rain, and snow off of you and your head dry. We are looking for one for my son now as he likes mine so much.
I bought this hat a decade ago and have worn it for countless hours on the hiking trails. It has served me well. It has protected me from the sun rain snow! Alas it developed a tear the last time I wash it. My hat came with a lifetime warranty so Tilley is suppose to replace. I will let you know how that works out!

I'm replacing a 20-25 year old Tilley Hat sewn with "Canadian persnickerdiness". Which is why it lasted so long. It was my go to, everything outside hat . I received an occasional compliment on the style . The new style has technical improvements in airflo but the comfort is the same solid feel. I particularly liked the hanging loop on the underneath edge of the back. This little addition has been very helpful. It makes hanging your Tilley hat easy and convenient. You don't get a good view of it in their promotional photo. They should. Without hesitation or reservation I would recommend this hat for anything outside. Thanks Tilley, another winner.
