At Tilley, our hats are designed to sit comfortably low on the head. The proper fit should be slightly loose, as gravity will keep your Tilley in place.
Step 1: Wrap a string around the widest part of your head, located 1 to 2 cm above the top of your ears and brow line.
Step 2: Determine the measurement with a ruler, then add 2 cm to the total, for comfort.
Step 3: Convert that final measurement into your hat size in the chart below.

I purchased 2 hats as gifts for Christmas (arrived right when they were supposed to) - 1 for my wife and 1 for myself. We have not worn them as yet - probably after Christmas!! I’ve worn a Tilley for years now, best hat I’ve ever worn. Very durable and they look great! I very much expect the new ones to be as great as my current one!!

This was the replacement hat for one that wore out after almost 20 years.
Tilley was fast and efficient and courteous.
My old hat was replaced by a new one that is even better.
