The Tilley Montana can be packed flat in your suitcase and then brought back to life by simply re-shaping it with your hands. The crown will pop back to its original shape. Creases will fall out or, if deep, can be steamed out.

INSURED AGAINST LOSS:
We understand the anguish of losing this reliable companion, or of having your dog terminally gnaw it. Should that happen, we`ll replace your late, lamented Tilley at half the catalogue price.
With your Hat, you`ll be provided with The Straight-Shooter`s Statement of Loss of a Tilley Hat insurance policy. The insurance is for two years, all perils, 50% deductible, and is not issued by Lloyds.
THE CLOTH:
The Montana Hat is made with 100% wool felt that has been treated for rain and snow repellency. The Hydrofil® polyester lining and sweatband helps to keep you warm and dry. The tuckaway ear warmers are made from a cosy cotton/spandex rib knit and provide additional 'staying power' in windy conditions.
SECRET POCKET:
Inside the crown is a good-sized pocket sealed with Velcro®. In it, carry your Brag Tags, I.D., toilet paper(!), license, hotel key, $10 bill (in your case a $20), plus 50¢ for an emergency phone call.
TUCKAWAY EAR WARMERS? :
Some years ago, I went out for a walk on a cold, windy winter's day. The wind chill was memorable. After a short while my ears were so painfully cold that I had to retreat home.
